This page contains bits and bobs of an autobiographical nature.
“To be [human] is to be responsible. It is to feel shame at the sight of what seems to be unmerited misery. It is to take pride in a victory won by one's comrades. It is to feel, when setting one's stone, that one is contributing to the building of the world.”~Antoine de Saint-Exupéry - Wind, Sea, and Stars (1939)
I am an American-Brit living in Denmark. I have, over the years, done any number of incredible, stupid, and incredibly stupid things - and survived. I'm not famous, or renowned, or even particularly expert at anything in particular, but I have never stopped asking questions, have never stopped seeking knowledge for its own sake. I know how much I still do not know, and, in so knowing, have, perhaps, achieved a certain kind of wisdom. I share it with you here. Perhaps you will agree.
